Voici des images réelles, mais incomplètes… Dans cette session interactive, nous iront au-delà des perceptions prédominantes des îles Mascareignes, pour explorer ensembles ses histoires complexes à travers la musique, l’art et la littérature. Venez nombreux, et avec vos questions!
[English] What do you picture when the islands of the Indian Ocean are evoked? Golden beaches, smiling people, a scintillating lagoon? These images are valid, and yet incomplete… In this interactive session, we shall go beyond predominant perceptions of the Mascareigne Islands, by exploring together their complex histories through music, art and literature from the region. Come with your questions!
