Québec has long-been a vital hub of creative writing and publishing in Canada. With some of the most innovative and exploratory thinkers writing and producing works in the French language, these three authors’ works have been translated into English with outstanding results.
It is with great anticipation that we present Stéphane Larue, Frédérick Lavoie and Audrée Wilhelmy with newly translated books that have garnered acclaim and awards in Québec and beyond. They join Festival moderator, France Perras, for a conversation about their work and the shape of creative writing in Québec.
