Registration Deadline / Get Your French Language Skills Certified with the SFU DELF-DALF Centre
Would you like to obtain international recognition of your French language skills that is valid for life? Or are you interested in the Teacher Education Program – French Module?
Assess and certify your level of French with the DELF and DALF exams offered at Simon Fraser University. SFU’s DELF-DALF Exam Centre is administered by the Office of Francophone and Francophile Affairs. It offers the opportunity to obtain certification for some diplômes d’études en langue française (DELF B1 and DELF B2) and a diplôme approfondi de langue française (DALF C1). Two exam sessions are offered during the year, in March and November.
What are the advantages of obtaining a DELF-DALF diploma?
The DELF and DALF exams allow you to:
- Obtain lifelong, internationally recognized certification of your French language level
- Enhance your resume (the DELF and DALF are becoming more widely recognized and may be required by some administrations, employers and postsecondary institutions)
- Provide proof of your French language competencies for admission to postsecondary institutions anywhere in the world, particularly if you wish to do a university exchange in a French-speaking institution
- Satisfy the French language requirement for your application to one of the Teacher Education Programs – French Module at UBC and SFU.
Registration is open for the next exam session taking place in March 2025, and the deadline is February 9, 2025.

- d’avoir une preuve de tes compétences en français afin d’être admis dans un établissement d’enseignement partout dans le monde, notamment si tu souhaites faire un échange universitaire dans un établissement francophone
- de compléter ta demande d’admission à l’un des programmes de formation en enseignement – module français à UBC et SFU
L’inscription est ouverte pour la session qui aura lieu en mars 2025. Les inscriptions se terminent le 9 février 2025.
